ACCOMMODATION DURING THE EVENT
At Controls
All of the Controls have some form of sleeping accommodation provided. This will vary from beds or camp beds to wooden church hall floors. Blankets will be available at most controls depending on the facilities available but all is included in the entrance fee. If you would like to guarantee yourself a blanket and something comfortable to sleep on, please use the bag drop facilities and we will transport your sleeping bag and mat for you. You are free to sleep elsewhere - such as Hotels, Bed and Breakfast or Youth Hostel if you prefer - but you will have to pay for these seperately.
Metallic space blankets are not allowed at controls due to noise. Any rider found using one will have it confiscated or asked to sleep outside. Refusal to comply with this will result in removal of your brevet card.
NB - if you are a snorer, please do not be upset if the volunteers wake you and move you somewhere remote- this will benefit you and other riders.
Food will not be available at controls for volunteers.
